How to Fake Leather Pants

So I saw this video on Youtube and wanted to make my own version.
Since winter is the weather when people like to be all dark and edgy, I thought it'd be really cool to have pants that are leather in the front and denim in the back!
Is that corny?
*shrug* lol

Supplies: Plastic to put the paint on, ELF Foundation brush, black shiny fabric paint, pair of jeans
Hair dryer (optional)

The paint that I used (And Raye used in the video).
Purchased at Michael's.

Before.
I chose these jeans in particular because they had some cuts in them and i wanted to see how that would look after painting them. Plus I didn't wear them often so I decided to update them so I would want to.

So I just did the same thing Raye did in her video but instead of just the knee caps, I painted the entire front of each leg.
Let it dry, did another coat, and....
VOILA!

Tell me what you think!
See you in the next post!
share and stuff!

xoxo, Tasha

  2. OK I'm seriously doing this!!!! You know I should smack myself because I used to paint jeans with that fabric paint and it really does coat it looking leatherish, (that's a new word and you can use it if you want) LOVE THEM. Oh and also those look like throwback jeans from the 80's two tone, again LOVE them!
