CPIK - Christina Carter

Remember last year when I started this "Cool People I Know" Series?
.... of course you don't, it was forever ago lol
So you can imagine how overdue this post is.
If you want to know what it's all about you can check out my first post about it here.
Anyway, people are always telling me how cute they think my blog header is.
Well let me introduce you to the designer, Christina Carter.

Christina is a full-time graphic designer.
She works for a credit union (designing) as well as does free-lance.
She went to school for it. Believe me, I know, because we were roommates lol
Not only did Christina make my blog header, but she also designed my "networking cards"

Now that I'm wanting to expand my skills in photography, she also designed my watermark!
I didn't take this pic but just an example

So let me stop blabbing and go ahead and let her tell you about herself!

Christina:
"I have always had a love for art. I believe that our heart's deepest desires were put there by God. But I knew His plan for me was NOT to be a starving artist. So I was delighted to learn that Graphic Designers are simply artists who can afford to eat (because the corporate world respects them).

I started my own design business because I saw a need for design that is both innovative and affordable. When you're starting out you have a grand vision for what your business could be, but little financial reach. I help people cast that vision.

I have worked with clients to create logos, business cards, and other materials to define their brand and business. One of my favorite projects was creating a logo for a makeup artist who was starting her own business. She had a vision of her services branching out to photography and someday her own makeup line. The challenge to design something that could speak to all 3 of those avenues, without losing focus, was so thrilling.

You only get to make one first impression. I love being a part of that moment!

Thanks for taking the time to read and share Tasha!"

So If you have an idea that you can't quite formalize or a blog or website that you need "branded" hit her up!
She's super flexible and won't stop until it's what YOU want :-D

Her email address is c.carter221@gmail.com!
