As promised, here are a couple more photos of the "Modest Maxi".
I haven't had much time to play with my camera yet, so I'm working off of auto settings... which aren't bad at all.
I can't wait to learn how to really use it!
Oh! And I show you how I made a basic crop top at the end of this post so keep reading! :-D
You can see the length is perfect for my height |
The split is not to high but not "granny" low |
Crop Top
I had two of these basic black beaters, so i decided to transform one of them into a basic crop top.
Compared to the maxi, I knew it would be really quick.
I put the tank top on inside-out and I decided where I wanted it to sit.
While I had it on, I put pins all the way around it to keep marker of the measurement
Then, I ironed the folds down.
I sewed along the folds to make a NEW "bottom" to the shirt.
Then i made a small stitch in the center of the tank to give somewhat of a cinched look in the front.
Cutting off excess fabric |
And here you have it!
What do you think?!
Can't wait to get to more projects!! :-D
See you in the next post!
share and stuff!
xoxo, Tasha
