Aaaagh!
Okay, that was a scream of sleepiness lol
Sooo one of the sew-a-longs I'm participating in this month is for The Monthly Stitch Collective
For March, the challenges is called:
For this challenge we are supposed to be making a pattern that we have never made before.
But instead of us choosing what we'll make, YOU, the people of the world get to be bossy *just this once* and decide what pattern I gotta make.
And because I missed the February Sew-a-long "Smarty Pants", I've decided to make all 3 of my options bottoms.
I have yet to sew pants/bottoms so this is killing two birds with one stone.... Or just sewing pants for the first time... however you wanna to look at it.
**Drum Roll Please!**
Option One: Burda Style 6981-View B
I would make view B because they're high-waisted.
The fabric is cotton.
Here is a closer view of View B
It has pockets and a cuff at the bottom.
Option 2: Butterick 5788 - View F
These are just jeggings.
I would use the solid black as the front and back and use the shiny leopard for the side panels.
It has faux pockets and what not.
I'm not sure if the pockets in the back are real or not though.
Option 3: Kwik Sew 3807
I would make the view with the ankle zippers on the outside.
The fabric is a stretch denim.
I LOVE the print
And you can't see it in this pic very well but the zippers are navy blue, not black.
SO! Time to vote!
Oh, the fabric you've chosen for the Burda pair! I really wanna see that made up!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI got it in a mystery fabric bag from Fabric Mart!
DeleteSeems like my vote won't make it :-(
ReplyDeleteThe Butterick please!!!
Herzliche Grüße,
rebecca
I'll be sure to count you in :-)
DeleteThanks for voting!
I'm glad to see that I am not the only one wanting to make pants for the Miss Bossy Patterns challenge!
ReplyDeleteI know! I saw a lot of dresses and tops as options.
DeleteI can't wait to learn some new skills!
