Easy DIY Labels: NO IRON TRANSFER

I haven't done one of these in a while but this was way too good not to share!

 

In my search of finding labels to put on the things that I make (cuz you know, I'm hype) I obviously was looking for ways to do it myself cuz I don't got money like that lol

 

All of the tutorials I was finding were like:

1. Go buy Iron transfer sheets

2. Print your labels in hieroglyphics

3. Put it face down on the fabric

4. Press but don't move cuz then the hieroglyphics will stretch and you'll have to start all over.

 

uhhh... 

 

As tech savvy as I am, I didn't have the will to find out how to print stuff backwards and what not.

I figured there had to be an easier way.

Sooo one of the sew-a-longs I'm participating in this month is for The Monthly Stitch Collective

But instead of us choosing what we'll make, YOU, the people of the world get to be bossy *just this once* and decide what pattern I gotta make.

And because I missed the February Sew-a-long "Smarty Pants", I've decided to make all 3 of my options bottoms.

So I've definitely got the sewing fever.

I've been exploring the sewing interwebs trying to find all types of sew-a-longs that I can be a part of and now I know why they say "be careful what you wish for" lol

So before I get all lost in the sauce, I'm posting all of challenges and sew-a-longs that I'm rolling with for March... ya know, for countability and what not.

And yea, I know it's almost the middle of March but I was out of the country for the first 9 days so i'm allowed to be late right?..right lol

High-Waist Pencil Skirt

So.. I bought a High-waist Pencil skirt tutorial from the INFAMOUS Mimi G. of Mimi G. Style and I couldn't wait to do it.

Out of all of the tutorials I purchased of hers, this one seemed like the easiest and it didn't require a bunch of notions.
